Computer training courses

Live instructor-led training in Microsoft 365, project management and accounting software. Pick the application you need — each hub has its own courses and its own skill path.

Dates, prices and registration for every course are handled in our booking system, which is always current. See the full schedule and register. Prefer to talk it through? Contact us and we will help you pick the right level.

Not sure where you sit? The five-minute skill assessment asks eight questions about what you actually do and recommends a starting course. Training a group rather than a person? Corporate training is scoped to your team and your files instead of a fixed syllabus.

Microsoft 365 applications

One hub per application, because nobody searches for "productivity software training".

Excel

Eight Excel courses, running from a first spreadsheet through to dashboards and macros. Live instructors, small classes, and a one-year free retake.

All 8 Excel courses

Word

Word training for people whose documents are long enough to fight back — styles, templates, tables of contents and mail merge.

About Word training

Outlook

Outlook training for people who live in their inbox — rules, search, categories, calendar and the task list that actually gets used.

About Outlook training

Teams

Teams training that covers the part nobody explains: where the files actually live, and why that determines whether Teams works.

About Teams training

OneNote

OneNote training for people who take notes in six places and can never find the one they need.

About OneNote training

Office 365

The umbrella hub for Microsoft 365 training. Pick the application you need — each has its own courses and its own skill path.

Accounting and bookkeeping

Separate Canadian and US versions, because the tax and payroll content genuinely differs.

Accounting

Bookkeeping fundamentals plus the two packages small businesses actually run on — QuickBooks and Sage, in separate Canadian and US versions.

All 3 Accounting courses

QuickBooks

QuickBooks Online Part 1 and Part 2, $619 each, in separate Canadian and US runs — because the sales tax and payroll are the part that differs.

All 2 QuickBooks courses

Planning, leadership and AI

For people running the work, and for the tools that have just arrived.

MS Project

Four Microsoft Project courses, $189 each, taking a schedule from a task list to a baselined plan you can report against.

About MS Project training

Copilot

Four Copilot courses at $99 each — what it genuinely speeds up, what it still gets wrong, and how to check its work.

About Copilot training

Leadership & PM

For people who run the work rather than only the spreadsheet — Project, Outlook, OneNote and Teams as one toolkit.

Every public course

What is included, whichever course you take

  • 90 days of free video access

To the library covering your course, with the exercise files used in class. Long enough to cover the point where you first need it back at work.

  • A free retake for one year

Take the same course again at no charge, any time in the year after you take it. Every course in the catalog, accounting included.

  • Never more than 10 people

Which is what makes it possible for the instructor to open your file and look at your actual problem rather than the sample one.

  • In person or live online

The same course either way. For remote delivery the instructor can see every participant’s screen, so being stuck is visible rather than silent.

Read about the instructors and the CAFE method, work through the free guides first, or check the questions we get asked most.

Where we train

Every course on this page is available anywhere in Canada or the US, taught live rather than recorded. In person is straightforward on Vancouver Island and in the Okanagan and Lower Mainland; everywhere else is live online. The accounting courses are the one exception — those run in separate Canadian and US versions, so check which one you are booking.
