Review the commitments in Copilot-assisted email

The Outlook course includes conversation summaries, draft replies, action items, priorities and productivity workflows. The key review task is checking whether the draft preserves the actual request and any commitments already made.

Practise with a fictional message thread that contains an unresolved question. Verify that the summary does not turn a suggestion into an agreement or invent a deadline. Confirm your Outlook and Copilot access before booking, and keep the decision to send a message with the authorised person.

Check an email summary against the thread

Use a fictional thread containing a changed deadline and an unresolved question. Ask for a summary and action list, then verify the latest decision, responsible person and date against the messages. An omitted qualification can matter more than the fluency of the summary.

Copilot for Outlook covers summaries, drafts, action items and personal productivity. Keep the final send decision with the learner and use the organisation’s rules for confidential or sensitive correspondence.
