Build confidence with windows and files
Introduction to Windows covers navigation, working with windows, personalisation, file organisation, appropriate program installation and exporting documents as PDFs. These skills support later learning in office applications.
Practise creating a clearly named folder, saving a sample document and finding it again. Use only approved software and follow your organisation’s installation permissions. Confirm the Windows version and device requirements before booking; a course is not a substitute for resolving a broken or inaccessible computer.
