Turn training needs into measurable objectives
A needs analysis should connect a recurring work problem to a specific skill. Requests such as ‘learn AI’ are too broad to determine the right application, exercise or level.
An illustrative practice exercise
A fictional department lists three tasks: drafting letters, summarising spreadsheets and building presentations. Each task is assessed for frequency, approved inputs and review responsibility.
- Collect one safe example per task.
- Choose the highest-value task that can be verified.
- Write an objective describing what the learner should produce and check.
Check the result
Confirm that the objective can be practised with available access. Exclude tasks where the team cannot define a reliable answer or an authorised reviewer.
Confirm the right training scope
Use the application-specific public course options as a reference, then request a tailored recommendation for your team. A formal consulting assessment is not assumed to be included in a course booking.
Related options: Microsoft Copilot Training Courses; Corporate training; Excel skills assessment.
Compare the published course pathways
These public outlines are starting points for the skills discussed above. A role-specific example or requested workshop topic is not automatically included in every public session. Check the outline and confirm any must-have requirement before booking.
