Copilot Prompt Writing Workshop

Plan Microsoft Copilot training focused on prompt drafting, iteration and result review. Discuss your goals and workshop scope with Power Concepts.

Write prompts that can be tested

Useful prompt practice gives learners a task, source material, intended audience and a way to judge the response. Repeating a clever phrase is less useful than understanding why a request produces the wrong result.

An illustrative practice exercise

Use a fictional supplier briefing containing three delivery dates and one unresolved issue. Ask for a customer update that clearly separates confirmed dates from the unanswered question.

  1. Draft an initial request with explicit source boundaries.
  2. Revise one instruction at a time.
  3. Keep the version that improves accuracy without hiding uncertainty.

Check the result

Check whether the response invents a date, drops the unresolved issue or turns a possibility into a commitment. Record the change that corrected each error.

Confirm the right training scope

Share the application and documents the group is allowed to use. Prompt-writing depth, practice materials and private workshop availability should be agreed before booking.
