Worked example: checking a Copilot-assisted briefing
This fictional example explains a possible learning exercise. It is not a customer case study, endorsement or quantified claim of productivity improvement.
An illustrative practice exercise
A fictional project team drafts a sponsor briefing from approved notes. The first response omits a dependency and describes a proposed recovery action as already approved.
- Provide a source-bound task and intended audience.
- Compare the draft with the notes using an explicit review checklist.
- Correct the missing dependency and approval status before preparing a final version.
Check the result
Record accuracy, omissions and total preparation time including verification. Faster drafting does not justify a briefing that misstates a decision.
Confirm the right training scope
Word or PowerPoint Copilot training may fit the communication task. Confirm application access and permitted materials, then discuss any private exercise or pilot evaluation you need.
