Copilot Training: Licence and Access Requirements

Check the account, licence and application access needed for Copilot training. Prepare for the actual class exercises before choosing a Power Concepts course.

Verify Copilot access in the application you will practise

A licence name alone is not a complete readiness check. Sign in with the approved work account and confirm the actual Copilot capability required by the course inside Excel, Word, Outlook or PowerPoint. Availability can depend on licensing, application version, account type and organisation settings.

Compare the practical requirements

The public Power Concepts course records require participants to have Copilot access. Training does not supply an assumed subscription or permission to change administrator settings. Ask the organisation’s Microsoft 365 owner to confirm the approved practice environment before booking.

Work through an example

Use a short non-sensitive test: open the chosen application, locate Copilot and try a task with material you are allowed to use. Record what works and what is unavailable. Resolve access questions with IT rather than bringing a personal account into a workplace exercise without approval.

Decide what to book or request

Send Power Concepts the application, platform and confirmed access details when asking about suitability. If the capability needed for the class is absent, discuss a suitable alternative or timing. This avoids paying for an exercise the learner cannot reproduce on the device and account used at work.
