Three different course choices
Outlook Intermediate uses Outlook Classic. It covers rules, Quick Steps, QuickParts, tasks, multiple calendars, contacts, custom views and search. The syllabus also compares Classic and New Outlook.
Outlook Strategic Management focuses on organising priorities. It covers a dashboard view, a one-week look-ahead, task management, inbox routines and reporting on several projects through custom screens.
Copilot for Outlook covers summarising conversations, drafting replies, extracting action items, preparing meeting summaries, prioritising email and developing a personal productivity workflow. It is listed as two hours; the two Outlook courses are listed as four hours each.
Match the course to the obstacle
If important follow-ups disappear because you have no consistent routine, compare Strategic Management. If the routine is clear but using Outlook tools is slow, compare Intermediate. If you already manage those basics and want to experiment with assisted reading or drafting, compare Copilot.
The tools can complement each other, but an AI-generated summary does not decide which commitment your organisation should make. Plan to check important details and review messages before sending them.
Verify the setup before registering
Tell the trainer whether you use Classic Outlook, New Outlook, the web application or Outlook for Mac. For Copilot, confirm the required account and application access before class; see Microsoft’s Copilot requirements. If several staff need shared working conventions, discuss team training as well as individual public courses.
