Build an Excel training budget around the right level
Start with the task the learner must perform after training. Introduction, intermediate functions, data management and dashboards are different purchases. A low fee is not good value if the syllabus repeats skills the learner already uses or skips the foundation needed for the intended report.
Compare the practical requirements
For a public class, check the fee for the exact product and whether tax is included. Add attendance time, any required software access and practice time after class. The published package includes exercise files, 90 days of video access and a same-course retake for one year; confirm their arrangement on your booking.
Work through an example
A planning example: two learners attending a four-hour course use eight staff-hours before practice. Multiply those hours by your own internal hourly cost, then add the actual tuition. This is a budgeting method, not a Power Concepts price quote. Keep the staff-time estimate separate from cash paid to the provider.
Decide what to book or request
For a team, request a quote that states the learner count, starting levels, delivery format and workbook scope. Compare the same inclusions across options. A custom report-building project should be separately identified so the quote does not confuse developing staff skills with delivering a maintained business system.

Estimate your training budget
Enter a confirmed fee or your own planning estimate. This calculator does not supply Power Concepts prices. Use one currency for every amount and include tax in your inputs if it belongs in your budget.
Method: tuition + (learners × hours × internal hourly cost) + other costs. Add preparation and practice to the hours if appropriate. This estimates cost, not return on investment.
