Scope corporate Excel cost before comparing quotations

A corporate Excel quote needs a learning objective, starting level, learner count, delivery format and example task. A general request for advanced Excel can refer to formulas, reporting, imports or macros, which are different scopes. Define the work before asking providers to price it.

Compare the practical requirements

Compare the relevant public-course outlines as a starting point, then identify what must change for the team. Include preparation of safe company examples, the number of cohorts and any follow-up. Ask the quote to distinguish teaching from developing or repairing a production workbook.

Work through an example

Use a budget with separate lines for the quoted delivery, staff attendance, preparation, travel or room requirements and later practice. Enter actual or internally approved estimates. A hypothetical cost per learner can support comparison, but it is not a published Power Concepts rate or a guaranteed return.

Decide what to book or request

For approval, attach the task the team will demonstrate after training and who will review it. Compare proposals against that same task. Confirm scheduling and cancellation terms in the actual quotation instead of importing assumptions from a public-class policy.

Estimate your training budget

Enter a confirmed fee or your own planning estimate. This calculator does not supply Power Concepts prices. Use one currency for every amount and include tax in your inputs if it belongs in your budget.

Enter the course hours and fee to calculate a total.

Method: tuition + (learners × hours × internal hourly cost) + other costs. Add preparation and practice to the hours if appropriate. This estimates cost, not return on investment.
