Prepare for the expert functions pathway

Build a filtered result that stays explainable

Decide what unique means in your data
A list of distinct customer names is not necessarily a list of distinct customers. Two people can share a name, and the same customer can appear with different spacing or punctuation. Use stable identifiers in the example, then decide whether you need distinct values or values that occur only once.

Sort the result without losing its meaning
Use a sample with a date, a category and a numeric value. Decide which field sets the primary order and how ties should be resolved. A report sorted only by a displayed month name can behave differently from one sorted by an actual date.
